Turrican was coded by Manfred Trenz and sure is one of the best if not the best plattformer on the C64. Some ideas are borrowed from Metroid but
Turrican is way better. The levelsize and the really smooth scrolling in all directions was revolutionary in 1990.
Besides the original version on the C64 I also wrote something for
Super Turrican on the NES.
