Cheats
A not so widely known and used secret in SMB is the Continue Code.
If you lose your last life in a level and you are in Game Over state just press A on the start screen, keep A pressed and then additionally press start.
Then you continue in the level where you lost your last life.
To shorten the gamelenght (for good or bad) just use the warp zones in
Level 1-2 and Level 4-2
