Chapter 11
Hidden in Plain Sight
5 Treasures
1 Conversation
And really fast we are in King's Bay already and search for the next tower. You can already see the tower towering in the background, but before we get close
you can have some fun on a very crowded market place. For a computer game there is quite some stuff happening on that market and all characters around here look
different from each other, what a crazy effort. But the marketplace atmosphere is really nice and well captured!
(1/5) Earthenware Mug
This chapter has a nice start. Just get down the stairs and take a turn to the left. Walk all the way to the dark corner and get down some more stairs there and
around the corner. The treasure is hidden there.
(Treasure 48/109)
(2/5) "Antique" Compass
On the other side of the market, the right side, you find a merchant that has something interesting for sale on his shelf, you can interact with it. Just use

as often as needed, until you got that treasure. If this price is alright?
(Treasure 49/109)
Trophy: Don't Feed the Animals
On the left side of the market are 2 women with apples in their baskets. One of them sells you an apple, so buy it. Then walk on until you get down the stairs shortly
after and meet the man with lemur on his shoulder. You can pet the Lemur. If you do this and then walk on the Lemur runs after you and steals that apple from you.
And this action earns you this trophy.
(1/1) Conversation 11/36
And right after this you can optionally talk with Sully or just run past him. When you are reading this and you are collecting all conversations you
should talk to Sully of course.
And finally we can play some real gameplay without having to focus on missable collectibles. So just continue straight on. That's it. Well, the temple is locked,
so we have to get past the door on the right to the fence and climb to the end of the pillars there. Then you jump through the open and broken window and
there you are inside the tower alredy.
(3/5) Nephrite and Jade Bowl
On the other side of the main hall of the tower is another side room, just like the one you just landed in. At the feet of a small statue you find the desired
treasure.
If you collected all treasure up to here you now earn the bronce halftime trophy for 50 collected treasures. If you missed some of the previous treasures you can
still collect them afterwards with the help of this very good and elaborate guide.
(Treasure 50/109)
Now let's get serious. Walk through that door and throw the coin into the pedestal in the middle of the next room. Four statues with Zodiac signs appear, Scorpio,
Aquarius, Leo and Taurus. We now have to ring a bell for them in the order they appreared just now. This puzzle is not that hard, but climbing around in the
tower with gears and pendulum construction is quite cool. Actually you should have fun there and don't read a solution for it, but I try to stay on point
and precise when explaining.
Scorpio
Use the rope to climb up the broken stairs, jump to the plattform and then to the pendulum. Right, up the pendulum, right, up and to the next platform
on the right. From there get back to one pendulum and quickly jump to the other pendulum when it starts. Up and change pendulum, up again until the next pendulum
passes by and over and so on until you jump off to the left. Climb up and run up the stairs as this plattform crumbles. From gear to gear, around the right, right, always down
until you can jump through a gap on the right.Up and you are the bell for the lion. This bell is useless. For now.
Better get farther up, via 3 gears to the left and there we are at the scorpio statue. Ring his bell, maybe someone is home.
Aquarius
Continue to the left via 2 gears, with

and up you climb faster, left again to the pendulum. Up there around the left, continue
to the left. Look at the beam, you want to jump to, otherwise Nate won't jump. We are at the Taurus. So continue over that beam to the ladder on the wall. Down and +
we are at the aqarius statue. Ring his bell too.
Leo
Now we have to get back to Leo, when looking at the middle contruction continue at the left. Over the beam and through the gear to the pendulum. 2 times around the left and
to the left. Back to the pendulum, up and left. And there we are at the Leo statue and ring his bell too.
Taurus
Up over the 3 gear to the Scorpio. Via the left pendulum to the Taurus. And here we ring to bell too.
So much for this riddle, we have to climb up more to that huge bell. On the left stairs decend for you, walk up there. Swing to the other side, climb up the
small cratething und pull the lever to stop the gear wheel. Now be fast and climb up the gear and off to the left. Climb out of the window
first to take a look at the clock. We can't continue here, we have to level out the hour hand to a horizontal position from the inside to have a bridge to
continue. So get in and climb on the left of the wheel until the hand on the outside fits. Then get out, climb over the clock hand, to the right, to the right,
swing around the corner to the right. Continue to the right to the window, right, up, left to the top of the window, up, and up until we are in the clocktower.
You could just go around the right to reach the bell. Be we want to explore some more.
Up here
(4/5) Ivory Handle Dagger
Rather go to the left around the first corner, climb up at the backside of this corner pillar, farther up until you are in front of a small door with
a beam on the ground. The Treasure is on one of these balconies, reachable via the beam in the middle
(Treasure 51/109)
Trophy: I Can See My House From Here!
Get to the kind of backside here (no beam on the opposite side) and climb farther up from this balcony, up to the roof. And here climb on that
antenna too. This antenna only receives pirate radio though, arrr, arrr.
If you just stay here the game changes to a nice viewing mode. Enjoy it. And via that beam on the frontside you can swing back directly above the giant bell.
Then get to the bell and turn the wheel. The wheel is old and breaks, so swing yourself to the bell from the left and shake it until it gives a sound. And now shit is
going down. Getting down is way faster than climbing up. Just jump at the right moment, climb up fast and swing. That's fun, eh!
(5/5) Brass Globe Hand Warmer
Walk around the staircase on the right and explore the debris on the side. In here you find the treasure.
(Treasure 51/109)
Now get downstairs open the way and get ready for an interesting puzzle.
Further down the stairs. Luckily someone lit the candles for us in the abandoned towercellar.
Get through the door and the puzzle machine boots up. You can get the
first two blocks right easily. Just turn them so that the stars at the border face each other.
Now we have to search for the symbols on the portraits of Adam Balridge, Christopher Condent and Anne Bonny.

Anne Bonny

In the journal turn Adam Baldrigde to the left 1 time,
Anne Bonny to the right 1 time and Christopher Condent to the right one time too. Their portraits are placed differently, but the names and symbols have to fit too.
Now rebuilt this code for Adam Balridge, Anne Bonny and Christopher Condent at the puzzle machine and 3 new symbols appear.
Now Nate is a bit lost and wants to take a picture.
Trophy: Glamour Shot
Just take a picture of Sully and you earn this trophy.
In case you missed it you can try again the next time.
Then continue to the next sideroom and pick up the painting of Joseph Farrell with Sully. And then we go through the pictures of
William Mayes, Richard Want and Joseph Farrell and check the symbols.
William Mayes

Richard Want

|
Joseph Farrell
|
After the first positively recognized symbol Sam already phones back in and has more info.
Then note down the other Symbols and in the journal or on the machine turn them like this:
Richard Want 1 time to the right, Joseph Farrell 1 time to the left and William Mayes 2 times anyways. This enters 4 new symbols to the playfield and a new door opens up. In here 2
names are burned out, but this doens't matter as we are clever. The monkey man is known from adventures like
Monkey Island and so on.
So we search for the Symbols on Guybrush, the unnamed one (Malik), Yazid al-Basra and Edward England.

Then you can look at the journal first and puzzle around.
Put the left unnamed paper on the monkey, the right unnamed paper on Malik. Then either here or on the machine turn Edward England 2 time anyways, Malik 1 time
to the left, the monkey 2 times anyways and Yazid Al-Basra 1 time to the right.
The machine turns and you take 3 more pictures. Then interesting things happen and it sounds like a lot of shooting and more action.
Then follow Sully and there is another explosive cutscene.
Trophy: Stage Fright
Just do nothing after the cutscene ended and you are back on the market in front of the tower. Do absolutely nothing. After 30 seconds the trophy appears.
If you want to see something whacky search for the black woman with the short black hair, long white shirt, purple skirt and the basket with purple fruit in it that
always walks around back and forth right here at the start. When she leaves one of the stands and walks again stand in her way. Once she can't get past you her character
goes into the basic animation stand. Whatever, let's get ready to rumble, follow Sully and thing get very serious!
