Captain your Country .
Captain your Country mode is accessible via the PLAY tab. Captain your Country is a one to four player mode. You play as an individual for a nation and need to make it up the ranks of the team from the bottom to the top position which is Captain.Do you have what it takes to lead your country to FIFA World Cup glory?
STEP 1:
GROW YOUR ATTRIBUTES: Grow from on pitch performance after matches and training
STEP 2:
INCREASE YOUR RANK: Work your way up the team roster while avoiding manager cuts!
STEP 3:
CAPTAIN YOUR COUNTRY: Earn top spot to lead your country to glory.

The first time you enter this mode you will be asked to:
- Select the audio channel you would like to listen to while navigating the menu (FM 89.9: Andy Goldstein and Ian Darke, FM 94.5 Men in Blazers, FM 106.7 Music)
- Select your team (see TEAMS section)
- Select the number of players (1-4)
- Select your player (Create a Player or Use an existing player)
- Select fixture type (Real/Custom)
When creating a player you have the following options:
* First name
* Surname
* Known as (if you want a nickname)
* Commentary name (choose a name from the database)
* Kit name
* Kit number
* Birth year
* Birth month
* Birth day
You can edit your appearance:
* Download and apply game face
* Hair
* Eyes
* Complexion
* Brows
* Ears
* Nose
* Cheeks
* Mouth
* Jaw
* Chin
You can edit your position and you can edit your physical options.
Your choices such as height and position will vary your start-out attribute stats.
Now you will be at the main menu for the Captain your Country mode. There are three tabs:
CENTRAL:
* Play match/Play training session
* Match updates
* Standings/Group/Qualifying
* Rival Standings
TOURNAMENT:
* Calendar
* Statistics/Top Scorers/Team Stats
* Fixtures/results
* Settings – including difficulty and half length
RANKINGS
CENTRAL
The CENTRAL tab allows you to play matches. In the matches there will be four player status bars shown. These are you and your rivals. You are trying to get a better match rating than them.In between the matches are training sessions. These are where you play some Skill Games and try and score more points than your three rivals so that you get the bigger attribute increase.
The Match updates tile shows the top stories concerning your player. Clicking on this button takes you to results and fixtures from across the wold.
The Standings/Group/Qualifying button shows the tables.
The Rival Standings option lets you see where you are in relation to your immediate rivals.
TOURNAMENT
The TOURNAMENT tab has the calendar. This shows what is coming up for your team. The legend shows the items that are on the calendar:Colour Item
Purple B International
Green Friendly
Light blue Qualifiers
Dark blue Finals
Orange Training
The Statistics/Top Scorers/Team Stats option shows the stats that you can view by team or the top players across the world.
By team you can see all the players appearances, goals, assists, clean sheets, yellow cards, red cards and average rating. In the headline tables you can see top scorers, top assist makers, top clean sheets, and the players with the most yellow and red cards.
The Fixtures/Results option allows you to see the international fixtures and results from across the world.
The settings options allows you to change your settings such as half length and difficulty level.
RANKINGS
The RANKINGS tab shows where you are in relation to all your team mates. You will start at the bottom in 46th position. As you grow attributes and perform well you will hopefully work your way up through the positions:Ranking Status
1 Captain
2-23 Final 23
24-28 International
29-33 Fringe Player
34-38 On the Radar
39-43 B-International
44-46 Try Out
The RANKINGS tab will also show you which category you should have reached by the next cut-off and the games remaining before that cut-off and your current status in attaining that rank (e.g. if you are safe or not).
Play through qualifying, growing your player, hopefully making captain, and get to the Finals and see if you can lead your nation to the World Cup.
