FIFA Ultimate Team
Create your own Ultimate Team, fine-tune it to perfect Team Chemistry, and try to reach the top of the FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) leaderboards. Choose players to build Squads with high Chemistry, buy or sell items on the 24/7 live Transfer Market, and play in a variety of both single player and online game modes.
Getting started
When you first start Ultimate Team, you'll learn how to swap and link players to improve Team Chemistry before playing a starter match. From there, you can start your own Squad and explore the Transfer Market, Pack Store, and your Club.
Chemistry
Chemistry is at the core of what makes your Ultimate Team successful. Having a team of star players can help you shine on the pitch, but your Squad must also have the right Chemistry to allow you to maximize its performance. The higher your Chemistry, the better your team performs during matches-and that means a better chance at winning games.
Your team's Chemistry Rating appears in the upper right corner when viewing your Active Squad. Placing players in their preferred positions can improve Chemistry. You should also encourage Nationality, League, and Club Chemistry by linking players so the connections between them are green-indicating a strong link.
Swap your players around on the Active Squad screen and add new ones from your Club or the Transfer Market to find the ideal balance for your team!
Chemistry Styles
Every player in Ultimate Team has a Chemistry Style. This affects which attributes will be improved based on the player's Chemistry Rating. Arrows appear beside the attributes that a specific Chemistry Style affects, and as you start building up Chemistry, they will turn from white to green.
To get the most out of your Squad, you can apply new Styles to them to change their attributes and, in turn, the team's overall tactics. The effects remain on a player until a new Style is applied. You can find these Styles in Packs and on the Transfer Market.
Contracts
Before players can excel out on the pitch, they need contracts to play matches. When viewing your Active Squad, highlight a player and press X to access the Actions menu, and then select APPLY CONSUMABLE to apply a Contract to a player. Move RS to switch to the status view, which shows the amount of remaining contracts for every player.
To give you a head start, the Players from your Starter Pack will come with a special long-term Contract (45 matches). All Players found in Packs start with seven Contracts, and each match they play reduces the number of Contracts by one. If a player is in your subs or reserves but doesn't head onto the pitch at all, he does not lose a Contract for that match.
Matches, tournaments and seasons
Challenge your team and reap the rewards in Matches, Tournaments, and Seasons.
Tournament matches are always single-round knockout matches, and can be played online or as single player games. Win matches to earn Coins, or take your team to the top and win a Tournament to gain Trophies, Coins, and sometimes even Packs.
Seasons consist of 10 games, playable Online or in Single Player mode. Try to make it through and win the Season or gain promotion! In this mode, the promotion, hold, and relegation system means that losing a match doesn't eliminate your team from the season, giving you the opportunity to bounce back from defeats.
Transfer market
The Transfer Market is the hub for purchasing, listing, and selling items. Here, you can find new Players to increase your Squad's overall rating and Chemistry Rating. If you're looking for a new Player, use the search filters such as Quality, Position, Chemistry Style, and Pricing to quickly find the ideal footballer to complement your Active Squad.
Search by name
If you want to search for a specific Player to fill out your Squad, use the first option in Player Search to type in his first or last name. This lets you easily select the Player you want based on the search results that appear.
Search from squad
For the first time in the Transfer Market, you can search for a Player directly from your Active Squad, compare him to other Players, and submit a Transfer Bid for him if desired. Simply highlight the Player on your Active Squad screen, press X to bring up the Actions menu, select SWAP PLAYER and then SEARCH TRANSFER MARKET.
Pack store
Purchase Packs from the store to find new Players for your Squad. You'll also sometimes earn Packs from winning Tournaments or as a special reward at the end of a Season.
My club
As you gain new players through the Transfer Market and from Packs you have purchased or won, you will have more than enough Players for one Squad. My Club contains all of the players not in your current Squad, as well as your Consumables and other Items.

The first time you enter Ultimate Team you are given your starter pack of cards so that you can build your own ultimate team. Your starter pack team is made up of 22 players, a manager, a ball, a stadium and a home and an away kit. These cards will mostly be bronze with the odd gold and silver card dropped in for good measure. All these cards will be untradeable, so can't be placed on the transfer list, and if you discard them you will get 0 coins. The players and manager will also start with 45 contracts, so you'll be able to use this team for quite a while.
If you have played FUT before (like in FIFA 13) then you will also get up to 4 loyalty all players packs:

Once you are set up when you click into Ultimate Team you will see there are six tabs under which are the various Ultimate Team (or FUT, where F stands for FIFA) options:
FUT Central
The FUT Central tab is like a title page. It shows a couple of highlighted ultimate team items, one of which will be the last thing you did (such as a tournament you were playing, and the other being a news item (e.g. TOTW, a happy hour) and the leaderboards.Clicking on the highlighted ultimate team items will take you into them. Clicking on the leaderboards will take you to the leaderboards. (For more on Leaderboards see the My Club section.)
The other five sections contain the meat of FUT.

Play
In Play you can play a:- Single player season

A single player season sees you play a season similar to Seasons. You start in division 10 and hopefully earn titles as you make your way to division 1. Each season has 10 games and your progress will be shown in the current season box with the points required for promotion and for the title shown, as well as the points you need to get above to avoid relegation to the division below.
Also shown is your season history which shows your all-time single player season record (W-D-L) and your titles won. Also selectable is the option to see your fixture list and the teams you will be playing. This will also show the rating of each team (out of 5 stars) and the difficulty level of each match (amateur through to ultimate).
By clicking on the current season box you get to see, in addition to the stuff on the screen before, how many matches remain of your season, your current form (last five games), your rewards for the division and your last three results with opponent and score across the bottom.
By clicking on the season history box you get to see some more stats. You get to see your:
- Seasons completed
- All-time record (W-D-L)
- Titles won
- Best season finish
- Pass accuracy (average)
- Possession (average)
- Goal difference
- Total goals scored
- Average per match
- Total goals conceded
- Average per match
Forfeiting will result in losing all progress made in the current season, after which you will be able to start a new season in your current division. Are you sure you want to forfeit the season?
So not recommended although you could avoid a relegation by using it.
At each divisional level there are four different 10-game leagues you can play. By clicking on them you can see the fixtures to see what teams you'd be pitted against and the difficulty level that the matches would be played at. You'll also get to see your rewards for winning, including any free packs. All the single player divisions are listed below. It is recommended that you try for the one with the most reward each time, particularly if you have assembled a good squad and if the points required for the title are low (as they are in the lower divisions). Also these are the leagues without restrictions on your entry requirements so will be easier to create a squad for. Can you reach the ultimate goal of Division 1?

Online season is similar to single player season except you play online opponents and there is only one league at each level to choose from. The fixture list feature of single player season is removed because opponents are dependent on who is online when you choose to play a match. Instead it is replaced with a leaderboards section so you can see how your friends are doing in their ultimate team seasons and how you compare to them.

Clicking on the leaderboards section gives you the option to look at your season points, titles won and seasons completed and compare to your friends or the top 100 looking at either the all-time record, the weekly record or the monthly record.
Also of note is that online seasons require fewer points for promotion, and the rewards are higher.
A single player tournament is where you play in a 16-team knock-out tournament against computer-controlled teams. It is a knock-out cup with drawn games going to extra time and penalties. The team that wins goes through to the next round whilst the team that loses gets knocked out. If you win through all four rounds you win. The reward, the difficulty level and the restrictions for each entry are available on the main screen. The little icons at the side of the trophy silhouette show the amount of coins you get for winning, any cards you get for winning, and any packs you get from winning. When you do win the tournament the trophy silhouette gets filled in. You also get a trophy entered into the trophy cabinet which you can see in the My Club section of My Club.

(In FIFA 13 single player featured tournaments were more regular than online featured tournaments, although the online ones often matched a similar single player one).

The bonuses on offer for beating that week's TOTW are as below:

You can get this bonus once a week, and only for the active TOTW. This is on top of the coins you would normally earn from a match. Note that Ultimate difficulty is a difficulty level only available in Ultimate Team whilst other modes have Legendary as their highest difficulty. This may explain why the Legendary and Ultimate difficulties don't feel much different.
Choosing to play a online single match lets you play an online match against someone else's FIFA Ultimate Team and is a feature that wasn't in FIFA 13. You'll get to see their star rating and chemistry up front too so if you don't like what you see you can back out.
Choosing to play a friend online is similar where instead of meeting a random player online you can invite your friend and play against their Ultimate Team.
Earning coins by playing matches
You get two sets of coin bonuses upon completing a match, a completion award (325 coins for an offline game) and skill awards. Skill awards are coin bonuses for achieving certain things in the game, such as scoring goals. To maximise your coins earned through skill awards use the table below. There is also a multiplier applied to this which is based on the quality difference between your team and the other team, and the difficulty level, so you could fill your bench with low-ranked bronze players which brings your overall team star rating down and your multiplier up. For online matches a further DNF modifier is applied where DNF stands for Did Not Finish. This stays at the maximum 1.25 if you don't quit online matches, and if you do quit matches it goes down, although it will rise again if you don't quit matches after it.

Ultimate Team general tips
- Rotate your players to either the bench or the reserves to keep their fitness up. (When you play a match all the unused players on the subs bench and in the reserves, but not out of the active squad, will have their fitness improved.) Doing this will save you using coins for fitness cards, and also your players are less likely to get injured if their fitness is high.
- Similarly keep injured players or suspended players in the reserves section of the active squad so that they can recover or serve their suspension. Doing this will save you using coins for healing cards.
- Don't substitute players unless necessary because a substitute will use up 1 contract when they come onto the pitch, even though they have only played part of a match. By not doing substitutions you use a total of 11 contract across your players, whereas with subs you could lose 14 contract across your players.
- If you have a player you want to play who has low chemistry in your normal team you could sub him on early in a match where he will inherit 1/11th of the starting team chemistry rather than having his normal chemistry. (Not recommended though as per the bullet above.)
- Don't quit online matches. It loses your players contracts, loses your end-of-game coins, gives you a loss and reduces your DNF-modifier which gives you fewer coins for future online matches.
- You can quit offline matches if you are losing without losing your place in the league/cup. The players involved though will still lose 1 contract for the abandoned game and your DNF-modifier will also go down, although this only impacts you for online matches.
- Win cups and play FUT seasons for lots of bonus coins, cards and packs.
- Keep your chemistry high as the players play better.
- Make sure to purchase the Ultimate Team items from the EAS FC Catalogue.
Squads
Choosing the Squads tab will give you these options to select: Your Active Squad shows you the squad of players you have at that time. Your Active Squad will be made up of 11 starting player cards, 7 subs and 5 reserves. There will also be a manager. If a slot is vacant, i.e. no player fills that position, then it will be black. If a starting player or sub slot is vacant you can't play a match until it is filled.There are several types of cards available in ultimate team. The main cards are player cards, of which there are several types too.
Cards can be gold, silver or bronze. Cards can be bought either from the Store or through Transfers.
Gold cards are players who are overall rated 75-99, silver cards are players who are rated 65-74, and bronze cards are players overall rated 64 or below.
There are also rare cards that are bronze, silver or gold but have white writing instead of black, have an enhanced bronze, silver or gold colour, and come on a fancier shield shape than normal cards with fancy pointy bits at the top. These cards are rarer but not the rarest cards in the game. No, the rarest are in-form cards.
In-forms come from the Team of the Week (TOTW). Every week EA picks a squad of players out who have performed well in their leagues and places them in packs for that week only. They have black backgrounds, and the players' stats are higher than their normal cards. The first TOTW for FIFA 14 came out on the 18th September and they will continue to come out weekly until FIFA 15.
MOTM (Man of the Match) cards are also available. These are another type of in-form. They come out when a player has performed well in an important cup game, and are normally available through packs for just 24 hours, as opposed to the week that normal TOTW cards are available for. MOTM cards have orange backgrounds. Again the player's stats are upped against their normal card.
Lastly there are TOTS (Team of the Season) cards. These have blue backgrounds with yellow trim and come out at the end of the season based on players' performances through the season. The players' stats are upped against their normal card. TOTY (Team of the Year) cards are similar (blue backgrounds, but without the yellow) and come out at the end of the calendar year (i.e. 2013) based on the FIFPro list of best players.

Looking at a player card you have four basic views:

The Status view shows the number of remaining contracts the player has, their fitness (out to 99), and their chemistry rating (out of 10). Players from packs start with 99 fitness and this goes down through matches played. Players from packs start with 7 contracts, which will allow them to take part in 7 matches. The exception is your starter pack players who have 45 contract. These totals can be topped up with contract cards. Fitness can be topped up too through cards, or by benching the player.
The Chemistry Style view shows the chemistry style you have applied to that player, and the attributes that can be affected by chemistry (these are the same as those on the summary view). All players start with Basic chemistry style which doesn't affect any of their attributes.
You can also view the Bio of a card by clicking RS on it. This will show you, in addition to the above, the player's bio (first name, last name, known as (if that player has a nickname), date of birth, height, player workrate (attacking/defensive), preferred foot, weak foot star rating (out of 5), skill moves star rating (out of 5)) and some item details (date card was issued, the amount you bought the card for or if you were the first owner of the card, number of owners, games played (split by your club and previous clubs, just like all the following), goals scored, assists, yellow cards and red cards).
Chemistry
To get your players playing well together you need to maximise their chemistry. This is done in many ways. First play players in the correct position. You'll know they're in the correct position because the spot below the card will be green. You can get a partial chemistry bonus by playing the player in a similar position, e.g. a CM in a RM position. By playing a player completely out of position, e.g. a forward in a defence spot, you don't get chemistry and the spot will be red.
This may mean you need to experiment with formations to fit your players best.
Available formations in FUT are:
- 3-4-1-2
- 3-4-2-1
- 3-4-3
- 3-5-2
- 4-1-2-1-2 - the two wide midfielders are a LM and a RM
- 4-1-2-1-2 (2) - the two wide midfielders are CMs, so more central
- 4-1-4-1

- 4-2-3-1 - the two wide men here are CAMs
- 4-2-3-1 (2) - the two wide men here are a LM and a RM
- 4-3-1-2
- 4-3-2-1
- 4-3-3 - all three midfielders are CMs
- 4-3-3 (2) - the middle midfielder is a CDM
- 4-3-3 (3) - the two wider midfielders are CDMs
- 4-3-3 (4) - the middle midfielder is a CAM
- 4-3-3 (5) - the middle midfielder is a CDM and the middle front player is a CF rather than a ST, so sits back a little (like a false 9 formation as made popular by the likes of Spain)
- 4-4-1-1
- 4-4-2 - this formation has two CMs in the middle
- 4-4-2 (2) - this formation has two CDMs in the middle
- 4-5-1 - this formation has two CAMs and one CM in the middle

Then you can get +1 chemistry for the player through a loyalty bonus. Players found in packs are automatically loyal. Players found in the transfer market will earn loyalty after playing 10 matches.
The aim is to get Chemistry to be 100 or near to it. This makes your players play better as they control the ball better, do better runs and so on, so it is worth getting this as high as you can.
Related to this, and new to FIFA 14, is Chemistry Styles. Chemistry Styles improve your Player's specific attributes (and not just for one game like the training card consumables do).

- Chemistry Styles are linked to your Player's Chemistry Rating.
- The higher your Player's Chemistry, the more effective Chemistry Styles will be.
- All players start with the Basic Chemistry Style. You can change from one Style to another using the Chemistry Style Consumable.
- High Chemistry makes your Players play better. Chemistry Styles show you which Player attributes improve with high Chemistry.
- As your Player reaches maximum Chemistry the arrows will change from white to green. This means that they're receiving more benefits from the current Chemistry Style.
- The more Green Arrows you see next to an attribute, the more your Player's skill improves.
- One green arrow - minor improvement, two green arrows - medium improvement, three green arrows - maximum improvement.
- Each Chemistry Style affects different Player Attributes. Change Chemistry Styles to change how your Squad plays.
- Change match tactics by changing your Player's Chemistry Style.

The basic chemistry style cards can be identified by a silhouette of a footballer standing holding the ball by his side. The attacking chemistry style cards can be identified by the silhouette of a player shooting the ball. The midfield chemistry style cards can be identified by the silhouette of a player dribbling the ball. The defending chemistry style cards can be identified by the silhouette of a player sliding for the ball. The special chemistry style cards can be identified by the silhouette of a player flicking the ball with his heel. The goalkeeping chemistry style cards can be identified by the silhouette of a goalkeeper diving for the ball.
For the Squad Selector option you can have several different squads set up so that you can quickly change between teams, without having to change all the players individually. There are 15 slots available for squads, but you can purchase FUT extra squad slots for FCC from the EAS FC Catalogue (available at levels 5, 12, 25, 29, 40, 49, 59, 63, 70 and 90).
Within this option you can use the Create Squad option to create a squad, either manually or with the aid of a squad builder which will speed things along a little. Of course these are only relevant when you have lots of available player cards to choose from in your club, and not just enough for one squad.
The last option here is Manager Tasks. There are 13 of them. These can be done in any order:
- Play your first match in a Tournament - Enter a Tournament and finish one match.
- Buy an item from the Transfer Market - Go to the Transfer Market and use the 'Buy Now' option to buy any item.
- List a Player in the Transfer Market - List any Player in the Transfer Market.
- Challenge the Team of the Week - Complete a match against any team in the Team of the Week Challenge mode.
- Apply a Contract Item - Apply any level Contract Item to any Player in your Club.
- Apply a Fitness Item - Apply any level Fitness Item to any Player in your Club.
- Apply a Chemistry Style Item - Apply any Chemistry Style item to any Player in your Club.
- Change your Club Kit - Change your Club's Home or Away kit.
- Change your Club Ball - Change your Club's Ball.
- Change your Club Crest - Change your Club's Crest.
- Change your Club Stadium - Change your Club's Stadium.
- Change Club Name - Change your Club's Name.
- Play one Seasons match - Complete a match in Online Season or Single Player Season.

Of course buying packs is only one of the ways of getting cards. The other way is to search the transfer list which in general proves to be more economical.

Happy Hours
- There is no set schedule for happy hours. They normally happen at times such as half-time of a big Champions League game, or the last hour or two of a MOTM card being available, or a TOTW changing.
- To keep track of happy hours you should follow the official twitter feed @EASportsFIFA
- Happy hours are times when special packs of cards are available for purchase. These are the possible packs that are offered during happy hours:
- Premium jumbo gold packs - costs 15,000 coins and contains 24 items, 7 of which are rare. This makes it a better deal than buying two normal premium gold packs for the same price as they would net you 24 items, but only 6 rare.
- Gold premium player packs - costs 25,000 coins and contains 12 players, mostly gold, of which 3 are rare. The value here is not good because you can open 3 gold premium packs for 22,500 and you'll probably pick up the same amount of rare players, but also lots of consumable cards too.
- Mega packs - costs 35,000 coins and contains 30 items, mostly gold, 18 rare items. To get 18 rare items via gold premium packs would take 6 packs at a cost of 45,000 so if you wanted the rare cards and didn't care about the others as much you could go for these. (This is also the pack that I got my In-Form achievement from, when I got an in-form and a MotM card in the same pack.)
- Jumbo rare player packs - costs 100,000 coins and contains 24 rare gold players. For 100,000 you could get 13 normal premium gold packs which would give you maybe 39 rare cards, of which maybe half would be players. So if it is rare players you are after (such as the in-forms) then this might be a good pack, although you don't get all the consumables and other cards (and it works out as a 4,167 coins per card which is a lot if you don't get an in-form).
- Rare Player Packs - costs 50,000 coins and contains 12 gold players, all rare. Similar logic to the above so go for it if you want rare players, and don't care about consumables.
- Packs with a 2x chance - these give you double the chance of getting TOTW players.
- Bronze Player Premium packs - costs 1,800 coins and contains 12 players, mostly bronze with 3 rare. These packs come out at the time of the Team of the Season Silver/Bronze team being announced (assuming that happens in FIFA 14), but also at times when there are a lot of bronzes in the TOTW. Not good value as you can probably pick up 3 rare bronze players by buying 2 normal bronze premium packs for 1,500 (750 per pack).
- Silver Player Premium packs - 8,500 coins and contains 12 players, mostly silver with 3 rare. These packs come out at the time of the Team of the Season Silver/Bronze team being announced (assuming that happens in FIFA 14), but also at times when there are a lot of silver players in the TOTW. Not good value again, as you can probably get 3 rare players from buying 2 silver premium packs at 3,750 each (so 7,500 in total) instead.

In the Transfers section of Ultimate Team you can buy and sell individual cards at auction, or at buy-it-now prices (even if you are XBox Live Silver). The options when coming into this section are:- Transfer Market

The items you bid on can be seen in your Transfer Targets (although some might fall off the end if you have bid on lots of cards) and you can also choose to add cards to your watch list that can be viewed here too, perhaps so that you keep tabs on it and bid at the last minute.
There is also the option to trade offer on cards where you can do swapsies. This is a good way of getting rid of cards quickly. Trade offers can only be done with people on your friend's list, so see if you can get a trading partner.
The Transfer List is where you sell your cards. Make sure you expand your trade pile size from 30 to 50 by buying the FUT Increased Trade Pile Size items off of the EAS FC Catalogue.
When you sell a card EA charge a 5% tax off of the winning bid. That is why whenever you list a card you always get a message pop up:
Your item is now up for trade and can be tracked on your Trade Pile. Successful auctions are charged a small percentage auction fee from the final auction price.
Bear this in mind when setting prices.
Trading tips
- Buy players through auction rather than Buy Now as you get them cheaper.
- Sell players through Buy Now with their starting price just below so you can sell them for more this way to impatient gamers who want that player immediately.
- Check to see if there is a featured tournament going on in the Play section that requires specific players, e.g. an MLS eleven say, and buy those players for cheap and sell for high.
- Buy players with lots of contract (because you can use them for longer without using contract cards).
- Buy cards during Happy Hours as there will be an influx of cards on the market at these times meaning you can pick up some good cards for less. This is also a good time to increase your club value by putting bids in for lots of players.
- Buy players that are worth less than their discard value (e.g. silver rare cards for 200 coins). To see a player's discard value you can click Quick Sell on them, then note the coins amount before clicking cancel. Alternatively you can work it out using the table below.
- Specialise in particular cards to buy low and sell high (e.g. specialise in individual players, or a particular type of card such as in-forms). A good way to learn the market is to be an active buyer and seller.
- Use a site like www.ultimatedb.nl to help you set prices for cards you don't need or want to sell. Also use it so that you don't overpay for cards too, although always bear in mind it is a guide.
- Another way to help you set prices is to search for the specific card you want to sell and see what it is going for at Buy Now prices. (This is slightly different from the Compare option you have when listing a card as not all of those cards will have Buy Now prices set.)
- It is always worth setting a Buy Now price too because a lot of people want their cards straight away and can't wait for auctions to end. However this has to be a realistic Buy Now price and not one that no one is ever going to buy at.
- Don't put cards up for less than their quick sell value.
- Watch out for a market crash for the high value cards around the time the team of the season is released in May 2013. (This happened in previous FIFAs and is due to a deluge of cards coming on the market as people sell their teams to try and afford the TOTS cards.)
- Buying cards through the transfer system is more economical than buying packs.
- Peak times (evenings in the UK) are good times to pick up cheaper cards because there is a greater supply, and non-peak times (mornings in the UK) are good times to sell cards because there is less competition. At least that is my theory although others say it is the other way around.
- Picking up players with no contract left can lead to you getting players for relatively cheaper as people are less willing to purchase a player with no contract left. Also, in relation to this, try not to use all the contracts on a player before selling them. Try and leave them with at least 1 contract left when listing them so that they hold more appeal.
- To make big bucks through trade you need to buy and sell expensive cards (like in-forms or Messis and Ronaldos). With high sums of coins involved this is risky so make sure you know what you are doing. Also bear in mind when selling high value cards that there is a 5% tax applied to the winning bid, so factor that into your profit margin calculations as you don't want it to wipe out your profit.
- You can sell your coins for real-life currency if you build up a big pot. Do a search on Google to find websites that offer this facility, and only use the trustworthy ones. These websites will offer you the most when the game first comes out with their prices diminishing over time. However it is important to note that if you sell your Ultimate Team coins this is against the rules of conduct and can result in a ban from Origin (the EA login service).

In the My Club section you will see the following:- My club

For the staff section the summary at the bottom will instead tell you the numbers of managers, head coaches, fitness coaches, GK coaches and physio coaches you have.
Lastly you can see all the trophies you've won in the Play section which will be split by single player and online trophies. Each trophy will have details telling you when you first won it and the number of times you've won it.
It is important to know about the consumables. There are several types of consumables:
- Player training
- Goalkeeper training
- Position change
- Chemistry Styles
- Manager leagues
- Contracts
- Fitness
- Healing
The effect will be shown on the card. You can also boost this based on the staff you have at your club. If you have, say, lots of pace coaches and their total pace boost = 20% then you will get a 20% boost on top of whatever the pace boost of the card says when you apply it. There is a 50% limit though so if you have pace coaches with a combined 80% boost you'll still only receive a 50% boost.
Position change cards can be used to change players positions, which is useful for increasing your chemistry. The position change cards available are:

- RW>RF

Manager Leagues cards can be applied to managers to change the league of that manager. This may be useful for Chemistry purposes. For example you may have an predominantly Brazilian Barclays Premier League squad, and you have a Brazilian manager who manages in the Eredivisie, so he is giving your chemistry a boost through his matching of the players nationalities but not through his league. Hence applying a manager league card for the Barclays Premier League will give your chemistry an extra boost.
Contracts can be applied to players, or managers, so that they can play, or manage, in more matches for you. Bronze contract cards work best on bronze players/managers, silver on silver and gold on gold. Again you can get up to a 50% boost on contracts through your staff. The managers have a negotiation percentage. Once these add up to 50% or over amongst all the managers in your club you will get that 50% boost whenever you apply a contract consumable, otherwise you will get a lesser boost based on the total of their negotiation percentages. Because of this it is worth stocking up on managers with negotiation percentages early on in Ultimate Team so that you always get maximum boost on contracts.
Similarly Fitness and Healing cards can be boosted in the same way using the appropriate staff. Fitness cards can increase your players fitness. This is useful if they are an absolutely vital member of your squad and you can't bench them. Otherwise a player's fitness can be improved by placing them on the bench or reserves of your squad and not playing them in the match.
Healing cards are for when your players pick up an injury. The injuries your player can pick up are to their:
- Head
- Upper Body
- Arm
- Knee
- Leg
- Foot
Consumables this year are stacked so that you can hold unlimited quantities within your club.
The Leaderboards show how your Ultimate Team compares against your friends, or alternatively you can view and compare yourself to the top 100 in the world. There are four different categories of leaderboard and you can view either the all-time, weekly or monthly totals (i.e. since the beginning of the month) for each of the following:
- Match Earnings: Total coins earned from matches and tournaments.
- Transfer Profit: Coin profits from purchases, sales and discards.
- Club Value: Total value of all Players in your club.
- Top squad: Combined chemistry and rating scores of your best squad.

Also on the leaderboards you can directly compare against a particular person by clicking A on them. This will show your relative records for the four leaderboards, and also your overall W-D-L record and the aggregate number of trophies you have won.
The Player Stats are worth looking at too. These show the players in your active squad by their overall rating, their games played, their goals scored, and their red and yellow cards accumulated.
As for the Delete club option, I have no idea why you'd want to do this. If it is because your DNF modifier is low because you have quit lots of matches, then you just need to play and complete some matches and it'll go back up again. If it is because you want to have a different name for your club then you can purchase the FUT Change Team Name item from the EAS FC Catalogue. There is no need to resort to deleting your club, especially now when your starter pack cards are untradeable.
If however you do ignore this sage advice please be advised you can only delete your club 5 times in total.

Anyway, a Brazilian manager with Brazilian players doesn't need to match their league, as you still can get Roberto Martínez (Spain, Barclays PL) for both Ramos and De Gea (receiving +1 then no increment if both league and nationality match).
