Q: What is the aim of this Completion Project?

A: This particular project is aimed at providing a complete, general Strategy Guide, Walkthrough and/or FAQ for every Sega Master System game that is on GameFAQs. This is a small section of most of the users who visit the FAQ Contributors - General Board to provide a guide for every game on GameFAQs.

Q: How can I contribute to this project?

A: Just write a complete, general guide (of any kind) for any guide located in the Incomplete page or the Covered for another system page. If you feel that a guide for any system should be seen as complete, you can ignore the Covered for another system page.

Q:What do you personally feel about someone contributing to this project when they are not enjoying the game?

A:I feel they should stop contributing to that game and try to find one they will enjoy. No-one should feel any obligation to contribute any game that they have claimed. Like GameFAQs itself, this project works on volunteers that write for multiple reasons, so why should I harrass anyone about completing a guide?

Claiming Questions

Q: There seems to be some user claiming a game. How can I claim a game?

A: Either post your claim in the topic you probably came from, or create a user account on Selmiak's Site and click on the blue icon at the end of the game you want to claim.

Q: I want to write for a game that has already been claimed. Can I?

A: Although I would recommend that you look for another game to write for, there is nothing stopping you from writing for that game. The claim system is to try and prevent several users all writing for <insert game name here> and waste several user's time with a guide they only wrote for this Completion Project. Most users work on a first-come, first-served basis, and will not write for that game, or check with the current claimer to see if they are still writing for the game and [if not] if they could use some of their research for the game. Again, I would recommend that you look for another game, but it is up to you.

Q: How long is a claim valid?

A: 1 year - shortly before the year is up, I will contact the claimer and ask if he/she is still interested in writing for that game (giving them first right of refusal). If I hear nothing after that e-mail has been sent out to the claimer, and it has been over a year, I will remove the claim. I will make sure that the claim will be deleted after 2 weeks of my e-mail being sent out, so the claimer has enough time to reclaim the game.

Q: So, are you going to be bothering me about writing these games for the year?

A: No - it is your choice whether or not to contribute the claimed game. The only reason for that final e-mail is to clear the database of old claims that may not be complete, and it will be the only e-mail I send.
