This is what I was talking about earlier. I would say it is safe to say the game is unclaimed.

damned that should have been my next guide... but I didn't claim it and I'm still writing on fantasy zone - the maze, as rob was right, there are still more levels >_>
So go ahead and pick the sherlock game enigmaopeia. So I think your last post was a claim for that game. right? Just checking to make sure.

Since you inquire about the game first, I wouldn't mind for you to take over the project. Please just let me know what would you like to do.

another thing, is there a translation for Sherlock Holmes: Loretta no Shouzou available or even the game?

There is no translation available for the game as far as I know.

No, I don't know why I even mentioned it here, I knew that it will spawn confusion. Just go ahead, as I posted, no problem, I'm still busy with the fantasy zone, as there are more levels in the game than I thought. I haven't even played Sherlock Holmes, so I don't know if I like it. Well, what about a co-author if I like it?

Congrats on getting another JP game completed.

I doubt you need to worry about any rejections as I would assume that it was readable (from looking at your other guides) and there are no other guides for that game.

I will submit Chuck Rock one day - was waiting for images in FAQs to be included and now they are, still trying to get it to work properly. Also means I need to play through the game again and collect some pictures I didn't get which I am lacking the motivation for right now. Hoping next weekend to have a real crack at it though, but may be a bit after. Very busy at work right now.

If noone claimed the game already it is free for grab. The external pages for the project are a good place to look, as they are there to make it easier for you to find out these thing without having to read the whole topic again.

Congrats on your first contribution enigmaopoeia! I myself will claim Chase HQ . This is a decent playable game that is in the same vein as OutRun (and more specifically Battle OutRun).

And also, some general thoughts on the CP. We've been at this for around 3 months now and completed 20 new games, as well as cross-linking a few more. Let's call this a 7 FAQs-per-month rate. Continuing at this pace we could realistically expect the project to be completed within a year and a half to two years. So although we've not exactly being setting the world alight with a massive stream of FAQs, it would appear a steady pace will pay dividends.

I implemented a yearly statistic to the page now. You can see we have written 15 FAQs in 2009, which is great when you think that the Completion Project is just around since October and in my book these are 4 months and 5 FAQs per month ;)
Well, I really gotta finish off that Fantasy Zone guide....

@Valkskorn: Just let us know when you want to claim the game. Otherwise someone else could be faster and grab the claim away right in front of your eyes.

I think I'll write a Chase HQ of my own. I like this game, so I'd like to write for it too, though that doesn't stop Devin's guide being cross-linked also. I'll claim Enduro Racer as well. This is an enjoyable game that I really wish I'd discovered before now. This should take up my quota of three claimed guides, but you can expect two of them to be posted in the next week or so.

I got bored and done a couple of stats on the Project so far. Here is how many games were completed (excluding cross-links) for the first 4 months of the project:

October* = 7
November = 5
December = 4
January = 4**

* This is the month we started, so we has less days in comparison to the other months listed here.

** 3 if you do not include Fantasy Zone: The Maze. I have only included it here because the guide up is still classed as complete by GameFAQs.

This statistic does not include the guide for February already on the site, as we already know there is at least 2 more guides that will be completed before this month is up.

,.,_,., Might as well actually set a claim for Daffy Duck In Hollywood.

If I decide against it I'll be no worse for the situation. It's a VERY.. what's the word, "iffy" game. Some enemies can be killed, some can't at all, everything's a one hit kill, a lot of the time you have to make blind jumps or enemies can shoot from very far off and you won't even know somethings attacking until it's too late, meh. Not sure how the difficulty affects it yet. Hm..

SG-1000 games should be added to the project since it is SMS part zero and all games are compatible with the sms.

^ If we're going to do that, we should also add the GameGear games, as it has similar hardware to the SMS and most games with the same name (not all) can have interchange-able games.

If other people do think it is a good idea to include SG-1000 for this project, shouldn't the NES project include Famicom Disk System? I don't know if this is the same idea, though.

@ selimak, that may be a more interesting statistic IMO, because you can see what month has been best for this project (like we know there were more guides being uploaded at the start of this project and it has just fallen since)

Seems a little unnecessary to me. I mean they're not SMS games. PS2s can plays PSX games and DS can play GBA games but that doesn't make them PS2 and DS games.

@TD, you should look at this post:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/detail.php?board=2000094&topic=51747805&message=586955214

I think there are 6 cities there, and each city has 5 rounds. That is about as many levels as there is for the game. I would have wrote a guide for the game myself, but found it to be boring.

You may also want to look on the Game's Cheats page for a decent cheat on how to continue your game after death. You can also use that cheat when you loose a life to remorph into the beast without seeing the long drawn-out re-entry animation.

Games, it's okay, but somehow you always like to mispell it, or maybe it was someone else, yeah, I was just annoyed, whatever, what annoys me more is that the script for the page seems to behave strange when you move games from the incomplete list to the complete list. The completion date for the last two game that TD completed should be saved automatically as the moment you move it over but it just showed 0000-00-00. And I can't reproduce this error. What are you doing? =)

@selmiak, Just tested it with the Golden Axe game, changing it to complete and back again. I do not know what is going on, but I did not need to edit the date information to transfer the game back to the incompleted section.

I go into the "Edit Data" section of the guide, choose the game guide as "Complete", click the text box next to it and then click "Save Changes". I do not touch the "Date" section as I assumed that it was updated automatically, like you have just said it should be.

Okay, so one final post for a while. I'm removing my claim for James Pond 2 . I don't want to put people off writing for it, so yeah. If someone expresses an interest in it, I have a 50% complete FAQ that they can co-author. I'm also going to claim Air Rescue . Finally, I checked adaml's Addams Family guide (as suggested by Joni way back) and it appears to follow the SMS version perfectly. I've sent in a Problem Report, so you can expect this to be cross-linked in the near future.

selmiak: Check your inbox :)

That's how it's supposed to work. Have you checked the date shown on the complete page once the game was moved there? That's the critical point I think.

yeah, strange, please try it again, just claim a random game, move it over as complete and check the completion date on the complete page. If it is still 0000-00-00 there is something strange in the neighbourhood. If not, yeah, I don't know, let's hope this error won't occour again and, you know, unclaim and uncomplete... and post results here please.

@TD: unclaimed James Pond for you and reading the mail right now.

However I claim the game, it will display the time I claimed said game. However, if I claim the game through editting the game information, it changes the date to 0000-00-00. If I claim it through the method registered users claim the game (clicking on the blue sphere at the end of the column), the date will change normally.
