Welcome to the second edition of the SMS Completion Project. Since the resumption of this project in October 2009, there have been 35 guides written, leaving 132 games without an FAQ. Hopefully such a steady pace can be kept up for the duration of this topic and another sizable chunk can be taken out. The epic work that is project site can be found here: http://www.selmiak.bplaced.net/sms/ So yeah, go out and write some FAQs! --- It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt - Mark Twain |

I am claiming Rescue Mission. I believe that this game could be quickly completed as there is not much difference between the 5 levels apart from an item at the beginning (which appears to do the same thing, whatever it is), whether the enemies have jetpacks, the name of the level and the path that is taken through the levels (which does not affect you, as you have no control anyway). --- Sign for System Requirements/Recommendations for games: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=53203289 |

Yep, realised that after I made that post, should have mentioned it before now. Thanks anyway for the confirmation. Thank you for your contribution to GameFAQs! Your Formatted FAQ has successfully uploaded, but you should be sure to preview your FAQ to ensure that it looks like you think it should. Game Box Serie Esportes Radicais is submitted. Not a huge FAQ, but not a lot to cover in the game. Looks OK except for one section near the end where no matter what I tried, I couldn't get a space to insert between a table and the next paragraph. The method I used for other paragraphs (a single + on a line) didn't work. I know a lot of people don't like the formatted guides, I do though. Back to Chuck Rock next. Hopefully I get the motivation to play through again to the section at the end of the third level which got deleted accidentally from my FAQ. I'll try to get it done this week some time. Yes, I just signed up last night (my time), not sure why I didn't before that. Lazy I guess :) Still deciding on my next claim, it'll probably be for Danan: The Jungle Fighter. Used to have it as a kid but never finished the game - should be much easier to do with an emulator. Never managed to get through the submarine or whatever it was (third level?) --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

You can write a guide for any game with any level of completion, as long as you do not mark the guide as complete when you upload it (unless, of course, it is a complete guide). A few users here upload incomplete guides so this site has some sort of information on how to complete the game. --- Sign for System Requirements/Recommendations for games: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=53203289 |

Haven't played the GG version, but it wouldn't surprise me. Expect to FINALLY see Chuck Rock in the next day or two, assuming I can finish the last level tonight. Had to retype the whole thing, in the end I will have had to play through this game at least 4 times for what should be really a rather simple guide to write. No idea where the memory card is which had the other copy of the FAQ, guessing it might turn up one day, haven't seen it since I moved houses at the end of last year. Thought I had it saved on my laptop as well, but nope. Had a lot going on lately or this would have been submitted weeks or even months ago. (trust me though, the quality of the guide is not really worth the wait - rushed through it a bit this second write through). I noticed on the weekend there are a few games that don't seem to be listed here on GameFAQs that are included in the game list FAQ (http://www.gamefaqs.com/sms/916382-sega-master-system/faqs/20340). Can anyone advise which of these games exist that are unlisted? Fairly sure I have seen Super Tetris around at least. Didn't crosscheck them all, but saw a few unlisted games on there anyway, such as 4 Pack All Action. Looks like there may be a few more games without guides, despite your best attempts to crosslink guides from other systems. I haven't submitted game data for any of these though, so they aren't added to the site yet. Sure we'll get through the list eventually. Down to 127 games for now (126 very soon), so it can do with a few more. Can't make it too easy. :-) --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

Finally, like 9 months after I first claimed it, James Pond 2: Robocod is finished and is now sat in the queue. I think I will give Psychic World a swerve for now vin, hopefully you could find some motivation at some point in the future? I know I'm hardly one to talk on this front, but dig in! As for my next project I'm going to take on Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP 2. You may have noticed, but I'm also to blame for the name change for this game. I believe Crazyreyn authored a guide for the first game in this series so hopefully I can pick up some useful info from there. --- It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt - Mark Twain |

Put me down for World Cup Italia '90 , had a (very) quick go at it when I went home for something else earlier. Not the same as the Mega Drive version unfortunately, but at least this version has the correct teams. Seems playable, but not a brilliant game. I will update the claim on the site on the weekend, can't remember what password I went with, got it written down. Somewhere. Fairly sure I've got it saved on my laptop anyway. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

I couldn't tell, as the passwords are stored as md5hashs. I hope you find it, otherwise, I dunno, I could code a create new password function, ...but please, find it! ;) added you claim anyways. Thanks for that. I'm sure the password is saved on my laptop, just don't have the internet at home right now - will take it to my parents on the weekend and get it then. Probably be able to get the FAQ done by the weekend - there is not a lot to the game. Got the structure set up last night, depends how much other stuff comes up as to when the content gets done. Still won't be submitting it until June 8 anyway. Just read the Wikipedia article on this tournament - sounds quite an ugly tournament. Don't remember it really, I was only 9 at the time. Seems Argentina were very lucky to make the final though - losing 2-0 to Cameroon in the group stage. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

Just tossing this in, but I checked with people in the know around the various Sonic fan communities, and it seems that the Game Gear version of Sonic Spinball is, in fact, just a downgraded port of the MegaDrive version, but with a few changes here and there (mostly, cheat codes, the final boss, the ending, the placement of a few rings and one bonus stage had some editing done to it). --- http://backloggery.com/jellysoup "Work is the best antidote to sorrow." - Sherlock Holmes |

Was considering writing two games for those letters actually (Tennis Ace and Ultimate Soccer). Not right now though. Probably in the next 5 or so guides I write for this project (if nobody beats me to them). As for the G games, the remaining Game Box games are all compilations. As follows: Corridas: Super Cross, Super Monaco GP, World Grand Prix Esportes: Great Volleyball, Super Futebol II, Wimbledon Lutas: Shinobi, The Ninja, Kung Fu Kid Fairly sure the last one at least has the three games already covered separately, haven't double checked, but I think the first one has as well. selmiak, is it possible to add the category of the games in the incomplete list? It is easy enough to check the category on here, can click the title on the incomplete list to go to the GF page for the game. Most games are quite obvious anyway from the title, especially sports ones. If it has football or golf for example in the title, there is a fair chance it is a sports game :) Just checked, seemed there is only one puzzle game needs doing to have them all with a FAQ, some aren't complete guides though. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |
