SMS Completion Project Part 2
Games | Posted 9/27/2010 9:22:00 PM | message detail |
Sent in a problem report to try and get the Strider 2 guide marked as complete. selmiak, is there anyway to get this game marked as completed, yet also make sure it does not appear in our completed stats? Just think that it should not be considered a success of the SMS project, as it was written before the project was revitalized. --- Sign for System Requirements/Recommendations for games: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=53203289 |

of course this is possible, just use the 'show game in list' option. This also affects the statistics. --- I don't care who your dad is! While I'm fishing here nobody walks over the water! www.selmiak.de.vu |

I will be trying to get another guide out before Friday to reach the 50-guide target, although I have not decided on the specific game yet. --- Sign for System Requirements/Recommendations for games: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=53203289 |

Not sure I will be able to make it unfortunately, got very little free time right now, plus the game gets a LOT harder in later tournaments, which I didn't realise. Opponents get 20 or more stat points extra in some cases. Should be able to finish within a few weeks, but probably not by Friday. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

OK, this may come as a bit of a surprise, however Summer Games is completed and submitted. Don't think anyone had claimed it on the site etc. 1 game to go in the next 20 hours or so to get to 50 I believe. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

this will be the 50th completed guide by this project if it gets accepted before sunday. And yes, as you claimed it already on the site noone else claimed it before you ;) Thanks for submitting guide #50 =) --- I don't care who your dad is! selmiak, I changed the claim earlier today to Ringworm. Additionally, Striker 2 has been removed from display because there were no changes to the guide before the start of this project. This means that (unless you are an admin) there will only appear to be 49 guides completed if Summer Games gets accepted. Could also remove the games that were complete through the bounty, but it is unknown if SB would have had a bounty for those games if this project was not running. I will not be able to make the deadline as I am still recovering from some illness I had on Wednesday. --- Sign for System Requirements/Recommendations for games: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=53203289 |

Massively missed this deadline I'm afraid. However, I've found the incomplete Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP 2 that I had been working on previously, so I'll reclaim that and hopefully I should be able to get this banged out in the near future. --- It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt - Mark Twain |

Summer Games was accepted. Thought I could get that guide out fairly quickly as it is fairly similar to the GBSER guide I had already written (same company, similar game structure, just different sports). Only took around 2 hours to write. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

Just posting a note for myself (and anyone else who may decide to take the game). Megumi Rescue requires the SMS paddle controller to play. There are also 30 levels to the game and you do not need to worry about saving anyone, excluding the rescue worker. If you manage to nuke a building (believe you need to find a helicopter icon in a window), you reach a bonus level. The game also appears to be a JP-only release. While I am posting this, can someone help me find proof that The Dinosaur Dooley was release in KO. Everything I found did not link to any evidence, so Sb rejected the claim. @vinheim, just noticed a post that you made earlier in the topic and just want to clarify. Sure was, maybe you didn't use the Korean name 'Agigongnyong Dooly'? Anyway, data is up now and box shot submitted too. There are some more Korean games missing from the database by the way. |

Do you happen to have a list of the Korean games Odino? Had a bit of a look and can't find a good one. I know there are some games, such as Dodgeball King that haven't been added, don't have a full list though. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

I added a few today, incl. Dodgeball King. I can't remember the names off the top of my head. They all don't use any Korean in-game and where even released in Australia by HES. |

Ok, all accepted: Dallyeora Pigu Wang (Dodgeball Kings) Suho Jeonsa Toto World 3 There is the Australian "4 Pak All Action", as far as I know it contains the four individually-released Korean titles and thus it would also be complete by auto-crosslinking the individual guides. |

If you check a FAQ in the hardware section for SMS, you'll see this: ------------------------------------------------- Exclusive Australian Master System games list ------------------------------------------------- 4 PAK ALL ACTION Release Date: 1995 Rarity: Only around 5000 were made and sold! ------------------------------------ Arguably the rarest master system game 4 PAK ALL ACTION was made by HES the company that supplies Video games to Australia. This is a multi cart with the following games 1:) Adventure kid: A crappy wonderboy clone with fruit milk and eggs. 2:) Power Block: This strategy game keeps you hooked for hours and days. 3:) Twin Mouse: A nice game with great graphics for 1994 4:) Cave Dude: Wonder boy Monster Land Caveman Style!! That would be lovely. In the mean time I'm thinking about my next project. Both Shooting Gallery and Missile Defense 3D sparked my interest, but Shooting Gallery is glitched on some levels and I can't get an idea how long Missile Defense is. (And Freeze SMS doesn't have any PAR codes for it) |
Games | Posted 11/2/2010 10:40:50 PM | message detail |
Joni, have you ever managed to finish Shooting Gallery? Almost every gap I have had this year regarding claimed SMS games, I keep playing that game. I have managed to get past the spaceships back to the ducks, but am unsure how many more rounds/levels there are to go. My game does not appear to have any glitches, but have never decided to claim it because of not knowing the amount of levels/rounds. --- Sign for System Requirements/Recommendations for games: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=7&topic=53203289 |

Missile Defense 3-D is five waves for each side, so it's not all that long. IIRC, you get a special ending for completing the game perfectly (without getting hit or letting any missiles get away from the launch base), though. Rob |
