Zaxxon 3-D completed and submitted. Say bye bye to the letter Z and soon the #, E J, N, X. Letter C, O, and W seem doable because I can take care of Olymic Barcelona 92 easily. @Ringworm, the game was on the list and claimed by the TC of this topic, before it was completed. I actually had a look at both games that have recently been completed, but decided to write for other games instead. @IceQueenZer0, are you claiming any games in your last post? Just want to know to keep the website updated + so I can avoid any games if I choose to write for another SMS after Megumi Rescue. I've already began the layout work for Space Harrier 3D so add that to the claims. Explains why it wasn't on the list of games that needed FAQ's I had written out, I didn't include the claimed ones on it. Good luck with that 4 Pak game - seriously considered that to get 5 games off the list, but at least 3 of the 4 are fairly terrible. The one a bit like breakout is just about playable though. Probably not too hard to write for though if you can put up with it. Put me down for Danan: The Jungle Fighter. Changed my mind from the last post as to which to write for. Was going to write for this game a while back but never got around to it. After that I'll probably look at Home Alone, unless someone else gets to it first. This is the game I was referring to last time - the game itself is OK, but making maps for it (which I was planning on doing as well to show the best path to take) is quite tedious as I found last night. --- ~ Ringworm ~ |

@IceQueenZer0 I noticed in your Zaxxon 3-D guide that you stated the need to play the game in 3D. It is possible to play the game in 2D. Here is what you need to do to achieve this: "Press start before beginning a new game to access the menu that allows 2D play". Well done IceQueenZer0 - that is 75% of SMS games covered now I believe. Just over 80 games remaining. I would like to claim World Cup USA 94. The menus are all pictures though so if anyone has a manual they could scan for me then that would save me a lot of time trying to work it all out. Thanks. |

There are 3 new (well, 2) games added to the database. IceQueenZer0, can you cross-link your 'Buster' Douglas Knockout Boxing guide to George Foreman's KO Boxing? We had both games merged earlier in the project because they are the same, excluding a couple of scenes, but they appear to have been divided again. Just wondering if you know if your SNES Robocop 3 guide could cover the SMS version? The game is in essence the same, but the levels seem to be cut short, and some of the boss battles are conducted differently. There are plenty of smaller differences, but those seem to be the main ones. So no, I don't really think it can adequately cover the SMS, which is a bit of a pain. --- Life is a journey. Just claimed Great Volleyball and the Game Box Serie Esportes 3-in-1 game. I submitted FIFA International Soccer so hopefully that'll be number 11 for the month. Note 1: There is still a Sega Master System game with a FAQ Bounty on it so you can earn some money for contributing to the project (I am not going to do that game). http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/faqbounty.html Note 2: On the project website on the completed guides page the stat at the bottom showing average completed guides by month is wrong. It's only right if you take into account non-zero months. So the real average is a little lower and shows just how well we have done this month. |

Removed my claim for Great Volleyball. The controls for this game is too f***** up (as in, I press 2 to try and hit the ball and nothing happens, I hit the ball, my players run to where the ball will land and does nothing), the ball can all of a sudden move direction mid-air for the benefit of the AI and some moves happen without my input. Not a good game to write for, due in no small part to the bugs that will be obvious for anyone who has played this game for a couple of hours. Currently looking for another game I can knock a guide out in a single day for. Also, for anyone who wants to write for this game, you perform spikes by pressing button 2 + Down on the directional pad. Took me about a day to find that out, and it doesn't even work all the time. EDIT: Decided to claim Super Tennis.
