Okay, the new ones are uploaded - Comical MachineGun Joe, PGA Tour Golf, Great Baseball (Japan), and Digger Chan. Technically, they haven't been edited since 12/30/2012, so count them as you will.

Figuring I'll kill off the A's sometime next week. I'll claim Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II for now - Terranigma is close to completion anyways.

Thought I was nearly done with Home Alone, then decided to try an easier difficulty level to see what changed and found that the time limits were different for each difficulty. Means I need to play through the whole game another couple of times to get those times. Shouldn't take too long, just got to get the motivation to replay it, which may take a few days.

Good job. We are getting through these games really well now. I wonder which of the remainder will be the problem ones?

Just uploaded a guide for "World Cup USA 94". Did I not like that.

I'll put in a claim now for the similarly named, but completely different "94 Super World Cup Soccer".

My guide is up now.

Also Ultima IV has been cross-linked to the PC version which, as I mentioned previously, is pretty much the same.

Xenon 2. It's a pain to play. Granted, if you can get past the high difficulty (at least for me) or decide to abuse save states, you shouldn't have a problem.

Then there's always those games in a foreign language. Bleh.

Wouldn't be surprised if its H or X - not going near either of those myself. The last T game unclaimed I think needs someone who knows Japanese, although I may be thinking of something else.

Undecided what, if any I will write for next, there are only a few I can sort of see myself writing for. Of those, Earthworm Jim has horrible controls, although its fairly similar to other versions, just shorter. One of the Robocop games looks ok too. Same with the F1 game, but I'm pretty terrible at it from a quick go, came 45th or so in the one race I tried.

I agree with this. I think Heroes of the Lance is meant to be hard, and it doesn't have a save system or something despite being long I think.

Xenon 2 is hard according to KeyBlade999 who beats most games in seconds.

And Tensai Bakabon has loads of speech bubbles in it which contain Japanese text.

D is another possibility. Glacoras claimed Daffy Duck in Hollywood but withdrew his claim after playing it for a bit, possibly because it was too hard. I believe it has collectibles in it, and you need those to get the third ending, but as far as I am aware no-one has ever found all of them and to get the ending they needed to hack the game (I read this somewhere and you can probably find it on the web). Plus there are two other Looney Tunes games which may have similar issues - multiple endings and maybe collectibles too (one of them starts with D as well).

Of course I don't have a comprehensive knowledge of all the remaining games so there might be another in there that could cause a problem.

Just want to state that I cancelled my claim on the Daffy Duck game not because of the difficulty of said game. The reasons I cancelled was because I had no time to write when I cancelled and several authors were just flying through guides, so decided that someone else should have the option to claim the game.

As far as the other Looney Tunes "D" game, there is a decent video walkthrough for the GG version that could be used for the SMS version [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lg9LuSSZ6bg ].

I disagree with "H" being a hard letter to cover, mainly because of these videos:

I'll do Tensai Bakabon if I can, don't worry, just never played it before and don't have time for anything recently. There is always someone with Japanese knowledge around who might just surprise you, like those other SMS and NES games that were covered by other people aside from me.

I wouldn't be worried about this one while so many other games to do anyway. :)

Scoped out a couple games and I see as my number 40 and 41 or 39 and 40 to knock off if I decide Woody Woodpecker is too awful to play which at the end of my Satellite 7 FAQ was going to be my next guide. So far I can't get past level 1. If anybody else wants to beat me to it, take it. I'm not going to claim it.

The other games I've checked out are Street Master (blatant Street Fighter 1 ripoff with Balrog/Bison and Chun Li added) and San Goku Shi 3 both are fighting games.

I was wondering if you were still doing that.

Anywho, GP Rider uploaded. I'm seriously concerned now that Sega ripped off their tracks across their racing games; some of those maps, particularly Japan, looked VERY familiar.

Could be that they are based on real-life tracks that were used in real life for these particular racing series.

Oh, that's a thought.

Still, it feels dumb to use the same track across several games without any real innovations.

Guys, I'm just wondering about something relating to the Captian Silver guides.

As I think a few people might know, during the SMS project, edwithgames created a guide for this game. It was not marked on our site because there was already a guide for this particular game on this site. However, I have just found out that the first game only covered the levels in the North American version of the game and the new guide covered the European version that has extra levels.

My question is "Should we include edwithgames's guide as completing the game on the site, or just keep the game off the SMS Project site?"

EDIT: Due to this game (and The Incrediable Hulk), I really think we should start looking at the non-CP guides to see if they do cover enough of the game to be considered a Full Circle guide. Anyone agree/disagree? Please post.

Glacoras. I created that guide in June 2005 for Gamewinners and submitted it to GameFAQs a year later. The guide has been on GameFAQs since 2006. In 2011, I revised it and tidied it up somewhat so it's in the state it's in now. Also in 2011, I revised and completed my Populous guide and my Rastan one because both were incomplete since being on GameFAQs since 2005 and 2006 respectively. By 2011, other guides had already been written but I still revised them anyway and they're on GameFAQs, complete.

I assume you've never played either of the two versions of Captain Silver. The US version is a truncated version of the PAL version with levels missing, enemies missing and bosses missing and with a text ending slapped on at the end. The other guide by DTJAAAAMJS covers the US version adequately. I created mine for the PAL version. Both guides are sufficient enough for the respective games.

The games are different enough to warrant a separate listing on GameFAQs in my opinion and one guide be allocated to each game but that's something for GameFAQs to consider and another topic altogether.

Having just reread DTJAAAAMJS's guide quickly, he does mention it's only for the American version and mine clearly states it's for the European version so I see no problem in leaving it the way it is.

As far as other games go, I recently created a new guide for Shadow of the Beast because the other one by Dominick Roman has several mistakes, is very short and, at the bottom, copies verbatim several tips from Sega Power's Really Groovy Tips book (a tips book that came with Sega Power magazine). I know this because I own the book and can see it's just been copied from there.

So other games may need a look but I don't think Captain Silver does as both my and DTJAAAAMJS's guide cover both versions excellently.

Glacoras, sorry if I misconstrued your post. I wrongly assumed you were talking about creating another guide for Captain Silver when I think you were trying to give me credit on the SMS Completion Project site. As I stated in my last post, my Captain SIlver guide has been on GameFAQs since 2006 and on Gamewinners since 2005. It only says 2011 next to it now because I forgot to tick the box that would've kept the original upload date when I updated it using GameFAQs' FAQ update form. It actually predates the project by several years I believe. Thanks though!
